Tongerlo is a very quiet small town and offers
a remarkable peaceness in regards to the larger
and more industrial cities of this part of Belgium.
Still, this area provides a base that gives easy access
to many European shows because it's really close
to the main interstates that cross this counrty.
It's a bit adventurous to get to the barn, but the fact that you have to drive through a rather remote countryside
can only be an advantage when it comes to creating a
natural and unforced environment for the horses to be trained in and taken care of.
MTC's motto is : Let the horse be a horse. We want the horse to leave our center even happier and more satisfied than when it arrived at Murillo's.
The horses can play in the paddocks in the sand, roll
around in the mud, or take a nap, gently drowsing in the sun. They can also go to the fields and have some lovely herbs. There's a walker and a solarium too.
We match every horse up with a fitted 'buddy' so it has
a very high social interaction and never feels left alone.
Our little pony Pinochio will gladly take care over the foals
and the girls.
