  • 05/11/2009 : New topic "Special memories"
    We added a new topic to our Picture pages with photos of Juan's trip to Libya.

  • 02/11/2009 : Pawik El Marwan and EM Piper
    With the purchase of two stallions, Pawik El Marwan (by Marwan Al Shaqab) and EM Piper (by WH Justice),  Fermosa Arabians of Spain, is upgrading their farm.  With their outstanding pedigrees these two stallions will bring some changes in your breeding program! We are already looking forward to 2010 to see Pawik’s first babies. Both stallions will be in management of Murillo Training Center.

  • 04/10/2009 : First and second place at endurance in Peer
    Another succesful endurance for the Murillo-team! Five team-members competed in the 30km-class and they all finished. Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won and Liesbet D'Joos and Khemet Chakra were second. Caroline Loos and Indian Shadow (by Indian Bogie Wogie) ended up in the 16th place. [results] [pictures]

  • 13/09/2009 : Cup of Flanders in Langdorp
    This year Langdorp was chosen to be the host of the Cup of Flanders-competition of VET 2000. Several members of the Murillo-team did their best to win the cup, with great succes! Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won the 27 km-class and took the Cup home. Liesbet D'Joos and her best friend Khemet Chakra also did a great job, putting them in the third place. Juan Murillo and Indian Shadow (by Indian Bogie Wogie) were 10th and Jeffry Geeraerts and the unexperienced Cheyenne DA were 27th out of 54 competitors. [results]


  • 06/09/2009 : Tipi wins the 46 km-class in Tessenderlo
    Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) was by far the best horse in the 46 km-class of the VLP-endurance competition in Tessenderlo. Together with Sara Van Looveren he managed to complete the tour in the minimumtime. Three minutes after they finished, Tipi's heartbeat was only 36, which proves that he is in splendid condition.


August

  • 01/08/2009 : Endurance in Lanaken
    It was a very tough competition in Lanaken, due to the weather and the long ride of 32 km. Jutta Kools and Nour Al Khenzo and Jessy Loockx and Indian Shadow (by Indian Bogie Wogie) finished in the 3rd and 5th place of the non-membersclass. [results]
    Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won the Initiatie-class and Liesbet D'Joos and Khemet Chakra ended up in a well-deserved 4th place. Juan Murillo took the Egyptian stallion Shaimoniet US to his first endurance-competition and they maneged to complete the 32 km in the minimum-time! They finished 36th out of 50 competitors.   • 28/06/2009 : Rector's Trophy Arabian Horses in Bierbeek
    Fantastic results at the Bierbeek show. [pictures and results]


  • 21/06/2009 : Bogies succesful at endurance in Gierle
    It was a great day for all the Bogie-offspring at the competition. Willy Veltmans and Surprise Fair (Indian Bogie Wogie x Ever Fair) won the second price in the 54 km-class. [results]
    Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) and Juan Murillo and Indian Shadow (Indian Bogie Wogie x Ghamillah) ended up in first and third place in the 27km-class. [results]

  • 21/05/2009 : Arabian Masters in Bordeaux
    Good results at the International B-show, Arabian Masters in Bordeaux. Special thanks to Sun Edyka to come to the showring to proudly present her lovely twin babies! For the first time also part bred arabians were shown, with great success. [pictures]


  • 03/05/2009 : Endurance in Stekene
    The Murillo-team took several unexperienced horses and riders to the VET 2000-endurance competition in Stekene. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th places of the non-memberclass went to Yenthe Meeusen and Veritas Van Nilayam (grandson of Indian Bogie Wogie), Caroline Joos with Indian Shadow (by Indian Bogie Wogie) and Nadine De Jongh with Pakloan. Due to an unfortunate event Johan Oostvogels and Aman ibn Kendal weren't able to finish exactly on time, which resulted in a 23th place in the same class. [results]
    Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won the 27km-class. Karel Tavernier and Khemet Altaïr were 11th and Liesbet D'Joos and Catitzia (by JK Catalyst) were 17th out of 63 competitors. [results]


  • 01/05/2009 : Several foals are born
    We would like to congragulate all the owners with the birth of their foals. Moonlight-Misha and Dendera both gave birth to a filly by JK Catalyst, Khemet Amethysta gave birth to a colt by JK Catalyst and JK Aidah gave birth to filly by JK Abu Talal!

 

 

April

  • 26/04/2009 : Pinto's get great results at dressage in Arendonk
    The first DAP-competition of the year was a great succes for Golden Indiana (Indian Bogie Wogie x Golden Lady) and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide), both ridden by Sara Van Looveren. Golden Indiana won the A6-class and was second in the A7-class. Tipi was second in both the L-classes. [results]


  • 12/04/2009 : Succesful endurance in Geel-Bel
    It was a great day for the pinto's! Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) competed in the 30 km-class and ended up in the 2nd place, Juan Murillo and Indian Shadow (by Indian Bogie Wogie) finished 14th in the 30 km-class and the most surprising result came from Yenthe Meeusen and Veritas Van Nilayam (grandson of Indian Bogie Wogie) who both rode their first endurance-competition and managed to win the 30 km-class for non-members! [results]
    Liesbeth D'Joos also competed in the 30 km-class, she took Catitzia (by JK Catalyst) to her second competition and ended up in the 17th place out of 51 competitors. [results]

  • 29/03/2009 : Tipi wins the 40 km-class in Helchteren
    Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won the 40 km-class of the VLP endurance competition in Helchteren.


  • 28/03/2009 : Shaimoniet is at stud
    We welcome the black Egyptian stallion Shaimoniet to our stables. He is available for the breeding season of 2009.


  • 27/03/2009 : JK Catalyst awarded with prestigious WAHO-trophy
    Today the board of the Belgian Arabian Horse Registry (BAPS) announced at their yearly general meeting that our stallion JK Catalyst receives the WAHO-trophy 2009. The official ceremony with the handing over of the bronze trophy will take place on August 23 at the Belgian Nationals in Libramont.

  • 27/03/2009 : Tipi wins the BAPS Endurance Challenge 2008
    Every year the Belgian Arabian Horse Registry (BAPS) organizes a challenge for all the endurance-horses in their registry. At the end of the year all results of the past season are taken into account and the best horses are rewarded with a sum of money. Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) prooved to be, by far, the best Arabian-related horse in the classes up to 60 km. [results]


  • 22/03/2009 : First endurance of the year is a great succes
    There were a lot of participants at the first endurance competition in Schilde. Several members of the Murillo team competed in the 30 km-class. Sara Van Looveren and Tipi (Indian Bogie Wogie x Kindly de la Bastide) won the class, Liesbet D'Joos took Catitzia (by JK Catalyst) for her first endurance-ride and ended up in the 20th place and Jeffrey Geeraerts rode the unexperienced Khemet Altaïr and ended up in the 44th place out of 64 competitors.   • 15/03/2009 : Catinia de Saile gives birth to a filly
    We would like to congragulate the Galle family (Belle Arabians) with the birth of their very first filly by Catinia de Saile (JK Catalyst x Sternia de Saile) and Borsalino K (Encore Ali x Keepsake V). [pictures]


  • 07/03/2009 : AHC Eskardo is at stud
    AHC Eskardo is standing at stud for the breeding season of 2009. He's an outstanding 3-year-old colt with an exceptional pedigree.
